You've been involved in an incident and damaged some property. What should you do if nobody else is present and your vehicle is still roadworthy?
DVSA explanation
If you're involved in an incident that causes damage or injury to a person or property, you must stop. You must also give your details to anyone who has reasonable grounds to ask for them. If you do not do this, you must inform the police as soon as possible and in any case within 24 hours.
