What restriction applies to a category B provisional licence holder?
While learning to drive a car you must hold a driving licence with provisional entitlement to drive category B vehicles. You must always be accompanied by someone who is at least 21 years old and holds a full driving licence (issued in the UK, the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein) for category B vehicles. They must also have held that licence for at least the last 3 years.
