For additional practice, your pupil's partner wishes to accompany your pupil while they drive. What rules will apply?
Anyone who accompanies a learner car driver must hold a full licence (issued in the UK, the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein) for the category of vehicle being driven, and they must have held it for at least 3 years. They must also be at least 21 years old. This applies even if they're just helping a friend and no money is exchanged.
