What's the national speed limit on a two-way road outside a built-up area?
DVSA explanation
The national speed limit for a car or motorcycle on a single carriageway is 60 mph. You do not have to drive at the speed limit. Use your judgement and keep within the speed limit while driving at a speed that suits the road, weather and traffic conditions.
