As a response to the ever increasing traffic volumes on our roads and the increased skill sets needed to drive safely in these conditions, the multiple choice theory test for learner drivers and riders was introduced in 1996 with the hazard perception part following in 2002.

Learning the answers to the theory test questions will also help you with your practical driving lessons because as you gain experience you will start to relate what you have learned to the real world of driving.

When driving on the roads you must be able to react quickly and correctly to unexpected developing hazards which is what the hazard perception test is designed to simulate.

Good luck with your test!
