Directions to the Liverpool theory test centre

Direction to the Covent Garden location Covent Garden runs between Water St (A57) and Chapel St and if approaching from the Water St end the office is on the left hand side down the steps through the black metal gates of the building which has blue tiled columns on it fascia. Local landmarks :- Oriel Chambers are at the junction of Water St and Covent Garden If arriving by train Covent Garden is opposite the rear entrance to James Street station. The centre has a limited number of seats for candidates only. Relatives and friends cannot wait in the centre. Candidates requiring wheelchair access should the aware the entrance is via a ramped entrance on Water St. Please note: If you need wheelchair access please call 0300 200 1188 for further information. Candidate should be aware - between Jan and Jun 2019 Mersey rail are carrying out platform upgrade work which will involve station closures - more datails available on the Mersey Rail website.

Driving Theory 4 All's tips to help you pass your DVSA theory test first time at the Liverpool theory test centre.

For car and motorcycle candidates, the theory test has two sections:
  • Multiple-choice questions - You'll be given 50 multiple-choice questions. To pass this section, you must answer at least 43 correctly within the 57-minute time limit.
  • Hazard perception - You'll watch 14 video clips, each featuring at least one developing hazard. One of the clips will include two hazards. To pass this section, you'll need to score a minimum of 44 out of 75.
  • Overall pass requirement - To successfully pass your DVSA theory test, you must pass both sections.
Practise the most up-to-date DVSA revision material.
Remember to take your UK photocard driving licence with you to your test. Without this, your theory test will be cancelled with no refund.
