ON FOOT: From town centre proceed along King George Street past the Post Office & turn left at the library onto South Street. Take the first right onto Penn Hill then first right onto St Nicholas Close. BY CAR: At Horsey roundabout take the Town centre exit onto Brunswick Street, straight across at the traffic lights and pass the Goldenstones Leisure Centre on your right. Take the first left onto Penn Hill then second left onto St. Nicholas Close. The Pearson test centre is just up the hill from the turning onto St Nicholas Close on the right with a gravel car park at the front of the building. Limited disabled access , wheelchair access direct from car park via a portable ramp. Please note the car park is loose stone chip which may cause some users difficulty. Should this be the case Frome is a local alternative centre or please call the contact centre for support.

Driving Theory 4 All's tips to help you pass your DVSA theory test first time at the Yeovil theory test centre.

For car and motorcycle candidates, the theory test has two sections:
  • Multiple-choice questions - You'll be given 50 multiple-choice questions. To pass this section, you must answer at least 43 correctly within the 57-minute time limit.
  • Hazard perception - You'll watch 14 video clips, each featuring at least one developing hazard. One of the clips will include two hazards. To pass this section, you'll need to score a minimum of 44 out of 75.
  • Overall pass requirement - To successfully pass your DVSA theory test, you must pass both sections.
Practise the most up-to-date DVSA revision material.
Remember to take your UK photocard driving licence with you to your test. Without this, your theory test will be cancelled with no refund.
