Be prepared for what is to come. Your DVSA theory test will consist of two sections:

Multiple choice questions - You'll be given 50 multiple choice questions. To pass this section, you must answer at least 43 correctly within the 57-minute time limit.

Hazard perception - You'll watch 14 video clips, each featuring at least one developing hazard. One of the clips will include two hazards. To pass this section, you'll need to score a minimum of 44 out of 75.

Overall pass requirement - To successfully pass your DVSA theory test, you must pass both sections.

Remember to take your photo ID with you to your test. Without this, your theory test will be cancelled with no refund.
